Anne Rice is a little more mature, some of her books are okay but others are a little boring, in my opinion. Try L.A. Banks series about Damali, I bet you'll like them but some times they are a little graphic, but it all depends on what you like. Accidental shoplifting, what do I do?

I was just going to say that sticking them in the freezer is perfect, but it looks like you already knew that. They basically just go to sleep and their heart rate slowly stops - painless. My 3 year old ( 3 years and 4 months old ) girl was always very healthy, really perfect health. We live in Florida and she spends lot of time with me in the our community pool ( really clean, but still...maybe full of bacteria, who knows...) I just think, she's got sick from it. On Sunday ( last week ) she just said, her belly hurst ( we were leaving pool at that time ) and she throw up right away. Then she was ok for rest of the day and the night. Next day she had a low fever around 100,throw up one more time and complaining about her belly. My husband took her to ER that evening- doctor said , she has a lymphodenatophy ( she had a bumb behind her right ear for a month , but no other symptoms of infection ) and otitis media ( the same ear ). When they got back from ER, she had a fever 104 ;-( we started with antibiotics, medicine for fever and pain (Motrin ) and I put a cold towel around her belly. Next day she had a mouth with a few sore ...something and really red and painful gums. Could it be from high fever? Yesterday my husband took he to ER again ( I was with a baby at home )- and they said, she has herpangina ( I never heard about this before ). She has problem with eating , because it hurts so bad...;-(, I am trying very hard to make her drink. She cries a lot during the day, because her gums hurts. Why do you thinks, she is so sick? Could it be immunity problem? She was always perfect health...She has only sometimes sensitive skin, like baby eczema...any advices, how I can help her with relieving of her pain? first off, you need to know if his mother acted like this with his previous girlfriends. It could be that she is over-protective of her son or she may just not like you. Vasectomy recovery. Your experiences?

My husband had a vasectomy 3 days ago. They made 2 incisions, one either side of his on the . He is in a lot of pain, his is swollen to twice the normal size and black and purple. It's awful. He went back to the doctor today who removed the sutures and said the swelling was worse because the stitches were very tight. He has been using an ice pack on it for 15 minutes every hour during the day since it was done and is on painkillers. Computer freezes all the time?

My computer locks up and loops a millisecond of whatever audio it was playing at many different times, when watching videos in youtube and WMP, while playing games, while randomly surfing the internet, when syncing my iphone, when running virus scans, etc...it wont freeze if no ones on it because i leave it on all day and its fine but as soon as i start using it again it takes about 5 mins for it to freeze. i have windows XP home SP3 and have done everything from cleaning my registry to buying fans to keep it cool...i dont know what to do anymore. also all the lights on my keyboard (caps lock etc) do not respond to hitting the keys until i reset.

Im 14 years old and im not very tall so i will still grow but how can i gain speed on my fastball. Last season i threw only about 55 mph but when i started pitching this year i threw right around 70 but how can i do something by myself to gain speed? I'm no Tai Chi expert, but I believe it's not so much a question of which style is better as which is more suited for you. How old are you and how long have you trained in these arts? The reason I'm asking is because you list so many arts that you have learned, I wonder if you've actually mastered one. Learning forms and Mastering the art are two different things and the real Tai Chi forms like Yang and Chen takes a life time to master. You need to pick which style you feel you are more comfortable with and would like to master. Then it's all just a matter of good instruction and dedicated training.

How can I learn how to cook? If I cook meats incorrectly, that could be dangerous...?

When I grew up, by the time I was in high school, we were so busy, it was either go out to eat or make macaroni and cheese or pasta or a grilled cheese...something fast. We never sat together around the table anymore. Everyone was grabbing a meal and going to another corner of the house to watch something different on TV or be by themselves. Most of the time we went out to overpriced restaurants. There was never, ever any meal planning. When you felt hungry, food was available within 10-20 minutes, whether by the water/waitress bringing it to you, or by zapping that microwave dinner or some spaghetti o's. I never learned how to cook. Now, on our own, my fiance and I have no idea how to cook anything. I think it's probably cheaper to make your own meals...he swears that buying food at a restaurant is cheaper and results in fewer wasted ingredients that end up getting thrown away. However, I want to know what goes in my food, want to watch my cholesterol, and have gotten dangerously ill so many times at restaurants from improper chicken handling/cooking, that I want to learn to cook. I can't live on oatmeal, canned pears, and boxes of raisins...and have no clue what to do to cook meat. I can't eat beef products, but I would eat chicken or turkey. How can I learn to cook? Everyone I know goes out to eat for all meals. Even my friends. They say food prep takes too much time, and that the time they save makes up for any extra cost! What should I do? We went to four corners last month at 5 o'clock in the afternoon and it was CLOSED! Closed? I could not believe it. It is in the middle of B.F.E. and is run by the local Navajo Indians and it even costs money to see nothing but bare land.It is about a 3 hour drive from the south rim.I would leave early from the rim.. like before sunrise and skipping four corners head Straight to Monument Valley entering at Kayenta. This region is much more spectacular when viewed in early morning or 1 hr before sunset. Spend half the day there then head to Page for the night. It takes approx 1 1/2 hrs drive to Page. Motels are reasonable and they have decent night life. Try "the Cove" Nice little bar and restuarant with friendly service.Go to the Glen Canyon dam and take the dam tour it's awesome! and check out the Lake Powell half day tour boat tours. This lake is not comparable to any other place on Earth. It even seems like you're on another planet. It WILL be the highlite of your trip, blows the Grand Canyon away 2 to 1. You will NOT want to leave and if you take the boat tour this place will be in your emotional blood forever. Vegas is a 5 hr drive from Page. Happy Trails... Feedback would be great after your trip. Well long story short there is something seriously wrong with me. I don't sleep meaning . . literally I lay in bed awake all night in somewhat of a drowzy state. I can't go to bars or places where there there are people drinking because I was abused by alcoholics my whole life. My body goes into panic mode when I'm put into a situation I've not planned for. Last but not least I don't have normal emotions. The extent of my feelings go from I like something a lot to I don't like it and want it to go away. . . I have a girlfriend that loves me and would do anything for me and I feel horrible that I can't love her back they way she feels. It is a fact I would've killed myself by now if it werent for the not wanting her to be unhappy about it. Not for the dramatic reasons like "no one understands me" or the standard reasons. Just because it's logical, I'm going to die anyway, and I'm not enjoying life. In every situation just about my heart races, and I don't know how I'm sopposed to act around people who feel things. I'm uncomfortable at family parties half because I don't know how to act "normal" and half because I don't want them to catch on I don't feel how they feel. I set my goals on making a lot of money; but even now that it seems like a real possibility I don't even care about that. When I think about going through this for another 60 years I get even more disgusted at life. The other me is fun and always has to be the best. The other me has 2 cats he enjoys and treats his girlfriend like gold. The other me wants to value life. I've sometime done ill moral things which caused people to hate me and or be out to get me because I have no guilt. I know when I hurt or take advantage of people, and it does not make me happy. I try to avoid it so they are not unhappy. I feel like I'm always under attack and I just want to excape. I can't hold down a standard job because I'f im miserable to begin with why be miserable at work. To avoid a job I started trading currencies in an apartment where I just realized, I don't really leave. I was not always like this. I mean to say I never had true feelings like others but I also didn't have this anxziety. If something goes wrong my heart races, and I'm panicing on the inside. Anylizing a situation from every angle for hours and hours on end. I'll miss most of a movie while stairing at the screen because I was thinking. I can't change that I don't feel and in fact it even has benefits but I want to stop my heart from racing. There are even deeper aspects of this. I HAVE to avoid physical confrontations because of my wanting to make things go away when I don't like them. I can control my life for the most part. I just need something to stop the anxziety and make my body stop freaking out. Am I trying to feel but the signals get messed up? Don't write me back saying see a doctor, I know, nones beleaves or quite comprends whats in my head. How could they? I don't even. I do not beleave in god but I have considered going to church and doing the whole "finding jesus" thing. People claim it helps them. So to cap it up.. No emotions- fine, can't sleep- fine, I'll have more time to do things. I have two Toshiba HD cameras with which I want to shoot a stereoscopic 3D movie with. But they are different models. I'm not sure if that would be a problem at all, but this is where I need help. Below each of the lenses is inscribed ' f=7.0mm F3.2 ' on the one and 'f=7.2mm F3.2 ' on the other camera. Now I'm not sure which 'f' refers to focal length. But if each have different focal lengths then shooting 3D won't be really possible, or difficult. So, which 'f' refers to the focal length of the camera? Rms' damaged speakers and subs..?

now I am no expert but would it be a safe guess to say that since I have a alpine amp that sends out 50W RMS x 4 powering my four focal 165V polygl speakers that require 60W RMS that caused my front speaker to blow and my 2 subs to blow since I have to put my volume to 32 out of 35 just to acheive loud (not screaming) music. My guess is since my amp isn't producing enough RMS clipping is occuring sending distortion to my speakers (my rear speakers sound weak as hell btw) and I am uming since have to turn my volume all the way up it caused too much stress to my 2 12" type-R subs (powered by a PDX 1000) if my guess is correct what should I say to the fools who installed this catastrophe? How do we go about repairing/waterproofing the chimney?

you need to check the step flashing on the roof around the chimney......it may be lead..copper..or stainless steel......they are installed before the roofing tiles...they are bent and formed to sit on the roof then come up the sides of the chimney about 8"s...look for crackes that can be filled with a silicone caulk...or roofing tar.......the top of the chimney MUST be 10' horizontally away from the roof...other wise it may become a hazard with heating equipment ( down drafts)
