What are the rules about Islamic things touching the floor?

If the islamic paintings contain verses of the Quran then it must not touch the floor, if it doesnt then dont worry about it because i havent heard of it not being allowed to touch the floor. The reason why Quran is not to touch the floor is because its the devine word of God and should be treated with respect, you should only worry about these things touching the floor if they have Quran written on them or the names of Allah.
