When Reagan sold weapons in a quid pro quo with Iran for hostages, was he appeasing terrorists?
Reagan, Bush, Clinton, and Bush Jr. all 'negotiated' with or appeased terrorists. Reagan and Bush outright supported, financed, and trained terrorists in Afghanistan, and it doesn't get much worse than that. Recently, Bolton tried to say that Clinton negotiated with terrorists in negotiating the release of the two American hostages, which is a stretch considering the North Korean leader is not a terrorist... just a bit crazy. His point was not lost on me, though, but in using an short-sighted ideal of the Bush administration (we will not negotiate with terrorists) to criticize someone completely different with different ways of handling different situations is moronic at best.
