Why don't Jehovah's Witnesses want to bring back the apostates?

I have seen some giving this as an idea when asked how to remove them from your doorstep: tell them you are apostate. I have also heard Jews say, apostates, we welcome you back. Why wouldn't JWs want everyone back?
