Will a CO2 BB Pistol pierce skin?

Yes if powerful enough it will break the skin, depends on the guns velocity. If you think you need it for someone breaking in, you would be better off calling 911 and just scaring them with it if it came to that, by pointing it at them, if they find out it is just a BB gun you could really escalate the situation into something worse.
